ATOTXA TRAIN STATION, Donostia-San Sebastián
Final degree project. Architecture. University of Navarre.

This project was done during the 2011-2012 schoolyear at the University of Navarre, in Pamplona.

The proposal of the project was to regenerate an old industrial area occupied by the countless abandoned railways that used to serve the old tobacco factory known as Tabacalera. This factory nowadays is being adapted for new public uses such as library, music rooms, and so on. In future, it will be known as CICC (Centro Internacional de Cultura Contemporánea) Tabacalera.

In the project, the aim was to offer to this new public building a better connection with the city center and, at the same time, promote urban living in the surroundings of Tabacalera, providing a new commercial area to the city, so that all together could create a new attractor point in the city.
