Financial Claims Made Simple (FCMS) have helped thousands of people reclaim over £35 million in mis-sold payment protection insurance, all without a single cold call. Driven by a set of strong guiding principles, FCMS sought to instil transparency and honesty into financial claims, providing exceptional customer service, all the while keeping things simple.
 
We were tasked with helping them rightly establish themselves as a market leader by repositioning and rebranding the service.
 
 
 
Challenge
 
A new industry for financial claims management exploded around the turn of the decade. Unfortunately it quickly became tarnished by the unscrupulous marketing activities of a small number of firms. FCMS aimed to do things differently, breaking away from the growing negative perception of claims companies.
 
Rebranding FCMS required an identity that could best show the company confidently delivering on its promises, while humanising the brand to reflect their personal approach to claims handling.
 
The brand needed to strike a delicate balance between appearing professional and allowing the simplicity and ease of the claims process to shine through.

Solution
 
FCMS had worked hard to cement their core values that set themselves apart from the crowded claims market. We carried these through within all elements of the creative process. Custom-designed characters served to represent FCMS, such as ‘Sam’, who hand-held claimants through the process.
 
A cheerful and vibrant palette was used to express a positive and friendly approach to claims management, reflecting the upbeat customer service that FCMS promises to its clients.
