• Fathia Magazine
The aim of this project was to create a magazine that steered away from excessive photoshopping and focused on the natural figure. In my magazine named ‘Fathia’, which is a slang term for ‘the best’, I carefully considered the use of Photoshop, using filters and effects that compliment the model’s figures as opposed to making them look artificial. I also included a few ‘before and after’ shots of one of my models to show the reader how Photoshop can be used to create misleading, idealised pictures of women. The magazine contains articles that are relevant to the brand values of Fathia and as an extension of the project I created online and mobile versions of the magazine.
