The aim of the project was to visually translate a historic event of World War I.
The motive was to easy, interesting and a less stressful overview on a particular chapter of a history text book.
This information graphic is a one surface map design, which gives a glimpse of the whole event instead of reading pages of text. The event was structured at two levels, the overall form of the map, that comes from the content of World War, and the step down level of the individual statistical components of the event. The process consist of analysing the data and nature of the event, having explorations of data visualization on both the levels and finally the feedback from users on readability value.
