English Type: Neville Brody + Eric Gill
Typographer's Book / Typography III / Corcoran College of Art + Design
For this project, students were asked to write and edit a research paper comparing two famous typographers. I chose to compare Neville Brody and Eric Gill, two English typographers practicing their craft almost 200 years apart. Once the research was completed, students were then asked to design a book that showcased the work of the typographers they chose. This book was handbound by saddle stitch and printed and assembled at the Corcoran College of Art + Design on Mohawk paper.
