The Code Wars Hackathon identity was designed for the global marketing of the event. EA will be hosting the event in 4 different cities around the world within a 24-hour period. The identity involved deliverables such as an event logo, web banners, location banners, campaign page, lanyard and event signage. The client wanted the identity to speak directly with engineers, coders and gamers around the globe, so I decided to look at what code looks like and devised a system around it. I wanted the color palette to read a little Mathew Broderick War Games but with a current twist by using a tablet within the final design identity.
