This was a package design project I did for a project called Eggrow. It's a ceramic egg that contains dirt and rocks. You gently crack the egg open, put seeds in, and water it, and it will grow into a planter. I wanted to make a package that you could see what the product was from the outside, but still protect the fragility of the egg. I also wanted the box to celebrate the egg, as if the packaging was becoming the project, which is why an egg shell texture was used for the exterior. The inside of the box I wanted to have a leaflike texture, since it's have animal half plant. The nest that goes inside of the box can be used as a place holder for the egg to keep it from rolling around.
