Cartoon maps for Danbury News-Time's "Life along the exits" series. The articles were about the businesses, landmarks,  people and anything of interest along the exits of interstate 84 in Connecticut.
These maps were printed on the front cover of the papers.
The final map in the series. It was a lot of fun creating these. After working all day on the computer, it is a happy departure to do artwork by hand. The images were "inked in" with a #1 Rapidograph pen and then painted in watercolor.  The image was then scanned and touched up in Photoshop. The type was set in Indesign and a pdf was created for printing.
