This video was done for an interactive design class that focused on after effects. The theme of the assignment was "conversation". We had to make a video that would call people to action. Big or small it didn't matter it just had to encourage the viewer to do something. My group and and I thought it would be a good idea to encourage creativity among the general public, and more specifically drawing skills in the arts programs. The sound clip is originally from the film "Beautiful Losers", and I thought it would go perfectly with our video. I contacted the creator of the film Aaron Rose and asked for permission to use the sound clip, and when he got back to me he was all for it. It's very simple and shows an illustration of Ed Templeton (the narrator and one of my favorite skateboarders) being created and coming to life. Each line growing and forming his features is meant to remind the viewer of simple line drawings we all did as children. Read Less
