Designers Against ACTA, SOPA, PIPA 'Prelude' Chapter

DASP. Designers against ACTA, SOPA PIPA.
DASP is a collective of designers that wish to express their protest for ACTA,SOPA, PIPA  through artistic expression and to leave a cultural heritage.  I was surprised that the design community is doing so little so express their protest against something that would affect us all considerably. I do not believe that we will change the world, but I do believe that we will be a part of something bigger that will determine the final outcome.

Here is how you can get involved
Designers

We will work in the traditional way. Every two months we will start a new chapter . I want to say thank you for the designers who agreed to participate in the "Prelude" chapter. We, on the other hand, will work on a new chapter called Censorship. The chapter is created to express the negativity of censorship and the oppression of freedom of speech. We need to show that we do not accept ACTA, SOPA, PIPA in its current form.
The deadline for the Censorship will be 3 of April 2012. Email the work submissions to daspsubmissions@gmail.com or use the contact form on the website with a title “Submissions”.

Gallery or public space owners

The primary goal for us is that our work would be seen by the public. Our goal is that our work inspires the public to understand the consequences of ACTA, SOPA, PIPA and that the design community is against it. If you own or curate a gallery, public space where the new chapter could be showcased, please contact us from the contact page.

The public

If you could tell your friends, colleagues about this project and spread the word, that would give us a great boost. Because the primary goal of this project is to raise awareness and express protest.
