  • This piece is comprised of multiple rectangular planes that can be assembled together and taken apart. The pieces go together correctly only in one way, and this can be determined by the lines and colors matching up from one plane to another. Each piece contains the text of one part of a manifesto about the art movement of De Stijl called “Towards a Plastic Architecture” by Theo Van Doesburg. When the pieces are all disassembled, they are stacked to fit into an additional box.
