"DOG-EAR is a magazine. But it’s also a bookmark. It’s completely free, and you’ll find it lurking in independent bookshops and libraries. It’s vaguely about literature, but this is free press as it should be. Submissions are collected and posted online – and once we’ve received about 40 pieces, we make a nifty printed version of the top 9." Seemed like a great idea so we submitted two designs for Issue 5 based around the idea of the actual function of a physical bookmark. One was a helpful explanation of the bookmark's purpose, the other was a comment on the ongoing print vs digital debate - we don't like Kindle, as you can see. It's crap. Both of our submissions were selected and featured on the DOG-EAR website. DOG-EAR is a rather spiffing idea and a great ongoing project - you can all have a go at submitting something here. We highly recommend it. Read Less
