I have participated in a workshop with Ecorev, an eco-friendly association which collects furniture to refurbish them in order to sell them. The purpose was to create a feasible product beginning with worn objects, giving new usefulness and functions for the user. With a workmate, Delphine Huart, I found a wooden wine box, a rip open table, plastic crates, cushions and pieces of wood. I decided to make Woodik, a student coffee table, hybridization between wood and plastic, with drawers and foldaway seatings. It was a challenge to begin with the material, in order to develop a one-of-a-kind product.
