While working at 180, DHL, was looking for a way to show off their global reach and capability in a way that helped present the brand as a partner in helping your business grow. We were asked specifically to present concepts that revolved around the notion of a map, or globe, as a way of highlighting this.

My role on the project was mainly UX Direction. I worked with creative & account teams to ideate concepts and helped Art Directors map out the experiences through sketches and design direction. I also travelled with 180 executives to Bonn, Germany, and presented our concepts at DHL corporate headquarters.

"Ask DHL" allowed users to pose a question to DHL by telling us where and when something needs to be shipped, your business type, and any special requirements that might be needed. The answer to that question is then plotted across a 3D globe with information points about DHL's capabilities in the appropriate markets, and with information about local shipping experts who might be able to help assist them.

"A Day of DHL" uses real time data to draw an infographic style map of the world that customers can explore to get a better idea of DHL's global capabilities. Users can filter the map by business type and explore a selection of mini case studies from some of DHL's featured partners.

"Growing Your World" is a case study based concept aimed at consumers who need a logistics partner to help their business grow. We show, over time, how DHL assisted and helped small brands grow into the big brands they are today.
