An East London area famed for its curry houses has been named as Curry Capital 2012 by Olympics organisers. Mayor Luftur Rahman was joined by Seb Coe and International Olympic Committee (IOC) officials to cement a deal made earlier in the year to promote the area ahead of Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Curry Capital 2012 is a project by Tower Hamlets Directory, which is launching this magazine
for Brick Lane. The media team of the company have been designing the complete brand for this unique marketing solution. It will allow millions of visitors to have a taste of the finest cuisines in London 2012.
The magazine will be in 24 strategically placed locations in London where everyone can pick one up for free. Stands include Ramada Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Radisson Hotel, London City Airport, Liverpool Street Station, Canary Wharf Station, Victoria Park, O2 Arena, Spitalfields Market, Idea Stores, Rich Mix, Tower Hamlets Council and Westfield Shopping Centre.
