Commissioned to fitout the new East London office of Currell Estate Agents, thinkingspace were asked to define a new approach to the concept of property marketing, re-branding the established company as it opened up new markets in the east end of London. Set in the ground floor of a new build development on the Kingsland Road, the site offered a long street frontage along a shallow plan.
The solution, a gallery style property boutique, combines flexible space with innovative design. A sliding wall system, featuring marketing and map graphics, divides the long space into shop floor and offices. Flexible and adaptable, areas for development marketing, private meetings and administration can be rearranged to suit the evolving portfolio of the new office.
Behind a full length (15m) glazed frontage a single bespoke counter style display cabinet runs the length of the shop containing marketing material and property information. A long lighting boom illuminates both window merchandising and internal displays using directional luminaires. The eye catching facade is one of the longest estate agency shopfronts in London.
