Agrotourism is what makes Cretan Roots unique. Some days before the herbs bloom , Cretan Roots organize trips to their fields so the people will spent their day gathering and learning all about the herbs of Crete. for the gathering, people take with them special cardboard made packages with labels of specific herbs so they can have them categorized.
The paper square packaging was chosen for two main reasons: firstly,  the shape to be cut up and built is simple and easy. Secondly, a square pan offers more storage space, both in length and in width.
The package was designed for two uses. The first is "the basket", this way you can gather the herbs, and the second is the "package" where you keep your herbs so you can use them anytime.
The Cretan Roots shop also has smaller packages filled with herbs ready for use.
The packets are used to coat the interior of the packaging, made ​​of a thin and supple fabric that can be changed at any time and the shape of the box. The texture is dense and it serves as the aroma of herbs protected from the outside through the walls of the package and also prevent their dissolution.
The logo was designed in 2 stamps, one for the image and the other for the name. The font used is the officina serif which is only in color black. The logo imprinted on stamp to avoid any plastic or an impersonal label printed and standardized, which will not resemble the handmade.
The book is free to give to anyone that shops from "Cretan Roots" and provides the customers with useful information about the cretan herbs and also their use.
