What happens when a familiar space becomes unrecognizable?

That is the question I explored in my final project for Norm Paris's drawing class. My series is an investigation of the psychological effects of disrupting familiar spaces.

Media: ink, charcoal, and gesso on paper.
Wall one of my completed series. The pieces hung on this wall are the ones done in the last few weeks.
Wall two of my completed series. The pieces hung on the right side of the wall are the ones done in the first week. The two on the left were done in the fourth week.
Wall three of my completed series. The pieces hung on this wall are from the first two weeks.
