Comunicar Design is an annual event about communication design that takes place at ESAD.CR.
This is a graphic identity proposal for the 2012 edition.

Concept

Based on the idea of students not knowing exactly what to do when they reach the end of their university life, the workgroup developed a theme for the event called 'Then and Now'. With this in mind, freelance designers and small design studios would be invited to tell their story to the students.
This interchange of information is graphically represented by two overlapping opposing arrows , one representing the Past and the other the future.
The use of students photos represents the need to get themselves exposed, though still not knowing exactly how they should be defined professionally.
