Tablewith carving and glass, Video, Ceramic Object, Framed Collage
Published:
The illusion of symmetries and psuedo-symmetries. A hypothetical conversation between Beethoven and Mozart goes on a TV screen, discussing different issues as death, music, et cetera. The camera follows the swaying of a metronome going at 60 bpm (beats per minute), the standarized speed of seconds and time, as well as a key tool for compositional purposes. Studies made regarding classical music, which was composed at 60 bpm, shows to be great background music to study, helping with concentration. A ceramical object with both composers busts glued to each other, facing down. A framed collage hanged on the wall, and a carving on the table with a half conic shape, reflected with a mirror, creating the illusion of a sand clock.
