During my final year at university we all had to come up with a brief for our own project. This could be on anything we liked. As a fan of comic books I wanted to do some form of a campaign for the 2012 Comic-Con. The main series of posters will be seen in various outdoor situations. The poster will feature a number of recognisable comic book characters. A slogan of “GEAR UP, POWER UP, SUIT UP” which is clearly seen beneath the illustrations, acts as an instruction to dress up as your favourite comic characters. This poster is also a guessing game where fans can attempt to guess what characters they are looking at. Every year Comic-Con sell a high number of tickets worldwide. To make things different this year the tickets available for purchase will also act as a seires of masks. The tickets/masks will be the first stage of a special overall event. Upon arrival at Comic-Con if the person would like, they will be able to purchase a limited edition bag that will act as the cape or armour depending on the ticket of their hero. Inside will be a t-shirt that will feature the emblam of that hero. This all goes with the theme of dressing up at the Comic-Con Convention. Read Less

Comic-Con is a yearly event that begins every summer in San Diego.
The campaign is meant to encourage fans attending the convention
to dress up as their favourite superheroes in a more cost effective way.
Everything associated with the campaign is an ode to the 1960's comic
books in a more abstract design.
