Originality and reserve make for an unlikely coexistence. Though whenskillfully combined they can create a certain harmony where there is everythingone needs but no room for excess. Based on this golden formula we created thedesign of apartment ‘Colour compromise’ where a canonic strictness andindividuality are blended together.

The design of the apartment is built on the combination of soft, subduedcolours and strict shapes. We removed all unnecessary details from the hallway:here we are welcomed only by walls finished with tiles in a grey and beigepalette. The functional sliding doors with reflecting surfaces imply immediateminimalism that suggests the release of an additional space.
The living room accommodating a kitchen with dining and recreation areasconstitutes an original continuation of the hall. The wall masonry that we meetat the entrance is repeated in the living room, but here it creates a totallydifferent impression. A green wall (the innovation of vertical gardening) makesit resemble a slope of a hill twined with green. The dining table with woodentexture complements the nature theme not allowing the interior to become dulland impersonal. The Roman curtains sustain all the compositions giving itan airy lightness.
We decided to make the recreational area not only comfortable but alsotranquil as well. The accent light creates an atmosphere of seclusion; thecombination of designer furniture and tropical plants imparts an exotic touchto this cozy corner. Here we placed the main highlight of the flat - a biofireplace, transparent on both sides. One can enjoy the fire both from theliving room and from the glazed balcony. We put floor flower pots on thebalcony; here flowers get enough sunlight, do not occupy the main space and canbe visible almost from every point.

The private room is designed according to the ‘two-in-one’ concept: here abedroom borders onto a small study; they are divided with a partition combiningbookshelves and another bio fireplace. A pastel palette once again provesits universality in creating a perfect atmosphere for both work and relaxation. The non standard furniture plays the role of the accents with its curved andoverflowing shapes adding dynamics to the space.
The abundance of quaint shapes is seen also in the bathrooms: from the wavyradiator to the sanitary ware and the mixer taps. Comfortable shelves under thesink compensate for the relatively small area of the space thus allowingall the necessary to be under one’s hand. We added an optional control of theRGB accent lighting that gives the possibility to adjust the illuminationaccording to the occasion (whether it is a stimulating shower or a relaxingbath).
Moreover, we designed a supplementary room for household needs. It isequipped with a convenient system of storage where all things useful inthe house remain hidden without spoiling the look of the apartment. In this waythe owner can be surrounded only by items that gladden his eye.
