"Colorful geometry" is my first tribut to geometric abstraction art from the beginning of the 20th century and artists like Malevich, Mondrian, van Doesburg, Newman etc. This series was made in period of two years and all photos were taken in one neighbourhood in Osijek (Croatia). With minimalistic aproach and by using natural light (play of light and shade), I tried to emphasize architectural elements such as "naked" walls, lines and colors. There are 12 photos or 6 pairs of photos. Each pair has its own unique characteristics (e.g. triangle, red wall or specific wall-lines); those characterics determinates photos in the next pair. For example: triangle and green wall in the 2nd picture (first pair) determinates 3rd photo (second pair); brown wall on 9th picture (5th pair) determinates picture number 10 (6th pair), and so on and so on. That is why pictures need to be viewed from left to right, in order to get that feeling of connection. Read Less
