This is a self-inspired coffee table book consisting of Afrikaans poems, depicting my daily thought pattern. The book starts out with a "good morning" poem, and the poems that follow jump between themes, as our thoughts tend to do. The book then ends again with a "good night" poem. The look and feel is based on the merging of two personality traits : Elegance and clumsiness. Therefore the book was created in a clashy Victorian versus Modern style complemented by strong textures. The name of the book (in Afrikaans) means "Thoughts of a non-poet".
