Background
Charities have always been important to Coca Cola. As one of the world’s largest brands, they lead by example in this field.

Brief
Coca Cola wanted to establish a site to help people connect to the charity of their choice. This would also provide an important social tool to bring like-minded people together.

Idea
The site focused on communication, connecting two Coke cans with a string.
Everyone can donate something to help others, whether it’s Time, Money, Power (physical help) or Stuff (toys, rugs, clothing, cans etc.).

Coca-Cola Australia, AlterEgo Idea
The idea was to build a site over a three-year period, designed to connect people to the charity of their choice. The site would have no obvious branding, but be subtly supported by Coke.

There is a potential philanthropist in everyone, an alter ego if you will. With this AlterEgo site, everyone can donate something to help others, whether it’s Time, Money, Power (physical help) or Stuff (toys, rugs, clothing, cans etc.).
