Close Encounters is a comic book and entertainments retail chain specialising in comics, graphic novels, manga, statues and computer games.
The objective was to redesign the company’s branding and identity in-line with their existing brand guidelines and design strategy. Detailed consultation and analysis of the market was required in order to develop a continuing strong strategy and direction for the company.
The project focused on moving away from their previous bright colours and utilising colour styles and meanings to achieve a darker, more engaging identity.
This fun and on-going project involved development, design and execution of everything from business cards and letterheads to print ads and giant banners for expo's and events.
