Clínica Universidad de Navarra is one of the best private hospitals in Spain. The fundamental goal of this institution is the entirely personal and compassionate patient care.
The new website design should convey this focus on humane treatment through image, color and language. It also needed a clear navigation and a structure able to adapt to the huge amount of content.
We used real people images similar to the users that would visit the website. Stock photographs of "perfect teeth smiling doctors shaking hands" were specifically banned ;)

The possibility of implementing intelligent search results was proposed, but this option was excluded from phase 1.
Disease landing pages were key to user experience as people that visit this content are often scared and stressed. The priority is to calm down the user and give a positive message, while providing detailed information about a disease and its treatment.

Users can find all the essential information about every doctor working in the hospital: contact channels, training and career, research projects, awards, etc.
