At Spin Master, Inc., I worked on Chixos, a line extension for their popular Pixos creative-play toys. Chixos Fashion Runway Playset
Toy Design for Spin Master
During a summer at Spin Master, I worked on the Girls' Creative Play products, including the Pixos line. They created a miniature doll extension for that line, in which the heads, torsos, and bottoms were interchangeable. I researched on the design of their eyes and developed the industrial design of the Fashion Runway Playset.

Before designing eyes for the Chixos faces, I researched a range of eye styles in dolls, illustration, and fashion ads.
Sample eye explorations. Color palette was limited to 2-3 colors, including black and white to keep the product within cost.
Preliminary sketches for the "Fashion Runway" playset. It needed to be portable, have storage space for the Pixos & doll pieces, and a runway that would push the dolls down the runway and twirl them at the end. Other considered features were a glitter applicator and vanity area with mirror.

This is how the final product looks outside of the package. To clarify, I worked on the industrial design of this set, not the graphic design printed on the stage curtains and background.
