Student project. Logotype and packaging for a manufacturer of rugged, eco-minded outerwear. The Cascadia name was drawn in closely-spaced, chunky stencil letterforms to suggest the soft rubber tread of a mountain bike tire or outsole of a hiking boot.

Paper pulp and paperboard construction emphasize Cascadia’s environmental commitment while differentiating the brand from the market’s ubiquitous chipboard packaging.

The large rubber band creates a simple closing mechanism, while labels aid consumers with proper gear selection based on their experience level and intended use.
