Captured Photography is the dream-child of Renée Hunt. Renée has always had an artistic inclination, and began drawing at a very young age. It was apparent early on that she had a particular passion for all things relating to horses, and they were nearly always the subjects depicted in her drawings. Her love for art soon progressed into a love for photography, because of the “realism” of the images captured on film in comparison to those she created from her imagination. As soon as she was old enough to understand simple cameras, Renée began snapping pictures of any and every thing she could. It was in her photography that her love for animals truly became obvious, and the camera gives her the opportunity to use her artistic talents to capture their unique personalities, creating cherished memories for years to come.
Renée has always had animals of her own, and currently shares her heart with Rosco, a Lab/Mastiff mix, and three purebred Arabian horses. Her connection to her own animals gives her an ability to connect to other animals she is photographing, and will take the time to get to know your furry friend before beginning the session. Years of experience photographing animals have given Renée the opportunity to learn the camera angles that best portray your animals in a manner that is not only flattering, but also an accurate depiction of their conformation; which is an important aspect whether you are advertising your animal for sale or at stud, or simply want to show your companion to friends and family.
