J.Borges couldn´t say it better: ¨ I saw a region of the former Anatolia, whose landscapes looked like the scenes of the country of fantasy…the rain, the snow and the wind had sculpted the mounts and the hills to transform them in gigantic sculptures. The men had carved also these crags, converting them into churches and monasteries. And perforated the rock of the soil with labyrinthine tunnels to shelter in underground cities. The sculpture was architecture. The architecture was sculpture. And both were undissociable of the nature. I saw the land that long ago was called Capadocia, composed of the matter of which the dreams are made of. ¨ Read Less
