Cadbury Portugal is well known in the portuguese market as the main company in the confectionery sector, being represented in the 3 segments, and holding brands such as Trident and Chicletes chewing gums, Cadbury chocolates and the Halls and Halls Vita-C sweets. Within the retail market, the brand strongly invests in its products presence in small business shops, such as pasteries, stationers and coffee shops.
Using the pronounced “C” from the Cadbury logo as source of inspiration and considering the structural elements of the former exhibitor, such as fitting areas and slope of the ramp in particular, the creative process aimed at developing a shape that would reflect the brand itself. All stages of the industrial production were stringently pursued, from the development of a primary prototype, in rapid prototyping, to the study of the sturdiness of the piece. The project involved the production of more than 200.000 units, distributed in the abovementioned establishments. The exhibitors were produced in ABS by Distrim Systems Lda and dispersed by the brand itself in both Portugal and Spain.
