A couple years back, the NBA's Seattle Sonics were planning a move the team to another city and Columbus happened to make the cut in their Top 5 Cities. Excited as most people in the city were... The Sonics eventually chose to move to Oklahoma City.
STILL, Columbus is my hometown and I've always been a huge NBA fan so Idecided to create a team! I decided on FLIGHT as the team name becausethe state is the home of aviation. The Color Combo of Navy/Red/Gold aredirect samples from two previously established Professional SportsTeams in Columbus (Blue Jackets, Destroyers).
