For centuries tiled stoves have occupied a permanent place in the history of European culture. This old device for warming an interior space was an important piece of equipment helping in the survival in a cold climate. Nowadays cities are removing heating devices burning solid fuel and
replacing them with radiators It is generally recognized that use of solid fuels for heating is a major cause of air pollution. However, it has been
established that warmth radiated from the tiled stove is healthier than the convection warmth of modern heating. It’s a kind of „slow heat” that is
naturally more pleasurable to the human organism. The outside of the box idea- figuratively and literally, was to unravel the stove on the wall’s surface and combine traditional grog tiles with the electric heater. This way we can keep the traditional, healthy technology and tackle the problem of air pollution.
