‘Bump’  is an animated project I produced using the lovely, short poem witten by Spike Milligan, narrated by Barry Leith and sound design by Matt Williams. The project was assigned with the aim of incorporating text effectively into animation, but I also wanted to use this brief as an opportunity to develop my skills in Adobe After Effects. 

 

The primary artwork was made from my watercolour paintings which I then brought into Adobe Photoshop and editted in preparation to be animated in Adobe After Effects. The result was a short and entertaining animation telling a story in words and imagery of how we’re fearful of the night, but mostly it’s just down to our imagination.
