#Breakfree Series for Samsung The series celebrates and showcases the creative capabilities of Samsung’s Galaxy Note handset through a series of three short films showcasing creativity breaking free from convention. MAN LIKE ME: This short film features Man Like Me in the studio with Mike Skinner, who has signed the London duo to his label, The Beats. To accompany the film we created a free download of an exclusive music track that won’t be on their upcoming album. OLEK ‘guerrilla’ yarnbomber The first film in the ‘Breakfree’ series, features ‘guerrilla’ textile artist Olek travelling the UK in a knitted taxi and adorning various landmarks with colourful yarnbombing. Included putting pink knitwear on Anthony Gormley’s Iron Men sculpture in Merseyside, an act that grabbed headlines on the BBC, major newspapers and magazines. Results: The #Breakfree films were featured in a number of media, publications and blogs, including The Mail Online, FAME Magazine, Boweryboogie, Gallerist NY, Creative Review, Campaign, Art, Music Rooms, etc.. – and yes, even Crochet Today.
