Blood & Sand
Private restaurant and bar
Blood & Sand is a private bar and restaurant in downtown St. Louis. It was conceived as a laboratory for creativity.

When TJ Vytlacil and Adam Frager (famed St. Louis mixologists) approached me and my husband/creative partner Rob Fieldhouse to help conceive, design and launch their dream establishment, we jumped at the chance. We worked from start to finish with these brilliant and passionate entrepreneurs on the branding, interior design, and marketing.  The end result is an elegant and inviting space, designed for socializing and delighting the palette. We continue to work with them to improve their offerings to members and market their unique concept. Below you'll see some of the aspects we were particularly responsible for creating.

Since launch, the Blood & Sand has received loads of positive reviews in local publications and in social media. You can read more at the website. We are thrilled to be part of it all.

If you haven't yet, come check out Blood & Sand at 1500 Saint Charles, St. Louis, MO 63103. The food and cocktails will knock your socks off. Tell 'em Lee sent you.
Letterpress Welcome letter for new members and menu covers
Hand-painted reproductions of original Swedish and Russian movie posters from  Rudolph Valentino's 1922 hit movie, Blood & Sand.
Bar area, with living walls. The plants are still growing into their new home, but one day soon they'll be fully lush!
Window wall dividing bar area from restaurant space.
You don't even want to know what it took to sand, scrape, prime and paint those old beasts...
