Blockbuster Summer Gaming
Blake Pettigrew produced Blockbuster's Summer Gaming experience. Summer Gaming was created to bring families out to Blockbuster locations and compete together utilizing the Nintendo Wii and Wii Sports. Pettigrew used the 2008 Summer Olympic's as the theme and awarded gold, silver and bronze medals during the 10 city tour. A 56% increase in video game sales was generated during this promotion for Blockbuster.
