  • Blake Hamster is a label standing for exclusive, passionate, socially and ecologically responsible products. Blake Hamster is a product brand of Designliga and the marketing consultancy company Feld M. Its declared goal is to comply with a rigorous canon of ethical and aesthetic rules throughout the entire value chain.

The core values of Blake Hamster are exclusivity, passion and personal responsibility, and they permeate every detail of the design and production process, covering use of sustainable raw materials as well as fair working conditions for suppliers and carbon-neutral shipping. Product packages are lino-printed by hand. All hangtags are printed on a combination of different materials and sewn by hand, making every product a unique work in its own right.

Blake Hamster's first own production was a collection of T-shirts comprising four different styles each for women and men. The prints were chosen in a competition for which Blake Hamster invited entries in a radio play-style announcement. Winning entries were by cutting-edge contemporary designers and artists including Damir Doma, hamansutra and Miss le Bomb. Cuts were developed in partnership with the fashion designers Ulla van den Heuvel and Susan Bauer. The shirts were produced in a fabric mix with added Seacell, a silky, absorbent active fibre that actually helps to retain skin moisture and firmness. It has the Environmental Quality Mark of the European Union. Each T-shirt was limited to an edition of 50 and staged by a different photographer.
