The aim of this project was to design an all-purpose off-road vehicle for transporting drinkable water which could be also used in a heavy terrain. This work and its solution have helped to design a conception of an all-purpose car named Begros which could be immediately used in natural disasters and unpredictable calamities. Its tank is designed to be detached if needed, so that after its detaching the vehicle itself becomes rather fast and is able to help right at the terrain or it can return to its home station to fetch another tank and to provide continuous supply of water.
A membraned system, which is protected by a reinforced vehicle´s cab construction, is placed in the anterior chamber. The remaining part serves to store drinkable water and is thermally insulated against freezing. The tank is equiped with four hydraulic legs which serve as support when the tank is brought down from the vehicle. The capacity of the tank is about 6500 litres and the filtering system is able to filter out up to 2000 litres of drinkable water in one hour. Read Less
