Website Design & Build for a Seaside Cafe
Beachwood cafe is a hidden gem on the North coast of NSW. The delightful cafe is owned and run by Chef Sevtap Yuce, (who previously worked with Bill Granger in Surry Hills). Sevtap has a keen local following with fresh Allpress coffee, a friendly attitude and local and organic menu overflowing with Australian-Mediterranean fare.
The design project timed with the launch of Sevtaps' first cookbook 'Turkish Flavours'. Written by Sevtap, the recipes were brought to life by photographer Alicia Taylor. The site was designed to be clean and simple, to let the vibrant colours of the beautifully photographed dishes pop on the screen. The restricted palette was limited to neutral whites and sand-washed textures, with text highlight colours extracted from the photography.
