I chose to design a catalogue for Bare Minerals. In order to be successful, this catalogue had to stand out in the sea of mail received by customers every day. The company’s current look, like many of their competitors, was very clean and simple. I wanted to bring life and adventure to the new season’s line and to highlight a product category that is not as well known. I also wanted to show women that they can be both bold and natural with their makeup. Overall, these goals were achieved by creating unique, high contrast scenes, a sense of depth by layering, and use of attention-grabbing copywriting.
