Babyglitter is an exclusively online store with clothing and furnishings, accessories and toys for children up to 5 years old.
Babyglitter's philosophy is simplicity. The product range consists of selected products with functional design made for everyday use. Our main concern for building babyglitter.gr was to create an online store with children's products as simple as possible, but also very easy to use.
That meant a number of options at each level of construction. We used the only two colors of the logo, purple and grey, to design the site, creating large areas of white background. We decided to use common search filters in each category for ease of use and speed of search. The product size availability is visible with just a click on a drop-down menu.
The strategy of banner design was the exact opposite, though. To give a strong sense of vitality and to emphasize the special character of babyglitter, we used mainly lifestyle photos, capital and small characters and symbols, letters or punctuation marks in a row. The result conveys the marketing message directly in a special way, which makes the banners visually vibrant and enhance the company branding.
