  • Boredom is characterized by perception of one’s environment as dull, tedious, and lacking in stimulation. Virtually everyone experiences boredom once in a while. In What is Metaphysics? (1929), philosopher Martin Heidegger pointed out that without stimulus or focus, the individual is confronted with nothingness, the meaninglessness of existence, and experiences existential anxiety.
The design of this typeface aims to illustrate the dangerous aspect of boredom, the feeling of being trapped and the anxiety that comes with boredom that we all experience once in a while.
