Restaurant Rebranding
Done whilst working for WonderEight.
Bob's Easy Diner has been around for almost 7 years and it was time it got a new identity. Having had a fun, retro communication, it now needed to speak to its customers in a more mature manner while still keeping an authentic vintage 50's persona.
The logo was carefully designed to reflect the famous scripts of that era and the whole personality of Bob's was strengthened with the choice of select typefaces and a unified layout that still gave room to various adaptations for the many promotions the diner has.
Placemat design for Christmas. Type was created with ribbons then photographed to give away the holiday spirit.
Placemat design for the EuroCup. Football players were given the haircuts of the 50s and were displayed on vintage panini cards that were produced as stickers and handed out to Bob's fans.
Placemat design for Valentine's. For this event, Bob's makes a heart-shaped burger. The burger was created with paper to make a change from the usual burger photoshoot.
