BBC Wildlife Project
The BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year is a competition held annually and created by the BBC Wildlife Magazine. This competition attracts many artists from around the world and promotes the creation of the best images of wildlife in traditional mediums. This project began by sending one illustration for the 2012 version of the contest. This image was included in the international artists category and the subject it depicts is endangered species. My work was selected as one of the finalists. From this illustration I created this personal project that includes three magazine covers and some internal pages. For this pieces I made two more illustrations on the same subject. The project is not involved with the magazine, is just a student project. All illustrations were created in graphite pencils and the image size is 50 cm x 70 cm for each drawing.
