As part of an identity review for loudspeaker manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins the company's literature was redesigned to reflect the evolving product design and the relentless quest for acoustic innovation. All elements of the design share a holistic approach and an economy of purpose. The location photographs emphasise the aspirational nature of the product and communicate that the speakers are equally suited to domestic and commercial. The sumptuous photography by Phil Sills, art directed by Thomas Manss, presents the core technologies and it also provides a pictorial narrative which “describes” the care and complexities of the manufacturing process.
