Avenida Meridiana
Video & Dossier
When you are travelling by train it is normal to feel curiosity aboutthe people sitting next to you.
It is interesting discovering who share yoursame fate. You can look at them and scan them but just until
they look back atyou, in that moment you have to look elsewhere so they don't feel observerd.

There are another ways to look, indirect gazes that made reality feelless observed. Looking out of the corner of the eye gives information, but itis too brief, however, looking through the reflex gives a slower observation, in which you can stop and analize all that the reflected image has to offer. As Mae West used to say:
"The straight line between two points is theshortest way, but not the most attractive".

This project is presented in editorial and video format. In the video, the Meridiana Avenue is shown
in an indirect and winding way. Through the reflexes it is presented an avenue that does not feel examined
and the audio that accompanies the video is formed by testimonies of people who didn't know they were being recorded.
