"Art Walk": An Entrance Mural For A Community Redeveloped Business/Commercial Building
The Clark Metro Community Development Corporation of Cleveland asked me to create a tile mural for the entranceway of a commercial/business building that they were redeveloping in there inner city neighborhood. The area is predominately Hispanic and Puerto Rican with an additional influx of immigrants and refuges from other countries and continents. The Clark Metro CDC requested a project that was colorful and lively that would draw pedestrians into the commercial space. This mural was designed with the assistance of neighborhood teenagers who met with me at the local branch of the Cleveland Public Library.
