Branding & packaging for 'Ariel Laundry Detergent'
Branding & packaging for 'Ariel Laundry Detergent'.
School assignment from 2013. Fictitious project.
'Ariel' is a marketing line of laundry detergents made by Procter & Gamble.
With the use of illustrations, which demonstrates how to fold the carton, the consumer saves space in their disposal and contributes to effective recycling.
This product revives the old P&G brand and heritage with being inspired by the product design of the Victorian era, and the graphic style of early 1900s. This is also the era where P&G began its journey as a world-leading company.
By creating a functional, familiar and easy-to-handle packaging, the design keeps P&G’s ideology of making the consumers life a little better.
The redesign has a minimalistic look, which stands out in a maximalistic market.
